The employee bedhinnthr counter (male maybe John) was outstanding and even gave me the active duty military rate. Excellent customer service

I was put in a brand new car. It was so clean and drove so great. The process was so easy and the staff in Manchester were helpful!

We were only able to drive the car for the airport, one day while we had it and back to the airport. The key fob wouldn’t work. And it took us a couple of days to find someone who carried the battery. So we had to pay for that also.

I was told and showed rep that I reserved a jeep Cherokee and was told no I would get a compass. Car was dirty from carpet to coffee drips and stains. Doors would not unlock 60% of the time . Large amounts of scratches on the bumper and sides. Keep fab was hit or miss. I was late to catch my flight due to the fact the fob would not detect. Absolutely awful service . Compass didn’t not even fit both of my medium suitcases. Completely not professional and poor business practices. Went and even spoke with manager and said that is what they had and all other vechile stuff were reserved. Hard to believe when the area was full of vechile and ready to go. I will not rent or refer any one to this hertz ever.

Car was wonderful. When we picked it up it looked new in a poorly lit garage. When in bright daylight we noticed that the car had been side swiped. We returned to the rental agency and was told that an insurance claim had already been filed. That should have been brought to our attention at pick up time. On returning the auto we had been told where to go and that the kiosk had a place to leave the keys. There was no secure place to leave the keys so we left them under the seat. Other than those two issues we were very pleased with the car as it had many safety features

Experience was excellent. We were in and out and on the road quickly. I was upgraded to a luxury level vehicle with no price change which made our one way trip extra nice.

during these ever changing times. having no option to change my reservation adversly affected my trip since flights and other parameters kept changing.

The initial car i got was great and a comfortable ride. Was looking forward to the road trip.

The car was great but the brakes shuttered when you applied them and the back tires of the care were almost bald. I had to get another car that was not so great in terms of the comfort of the ride but at least the tires had tread on them.

Would have liked to have been able to extend my use I would have liked to but the contract at the national number indicated it wouldn’t be possible at the current rate. I needed it for another month as my stay is extended. I then had to find a competitor which I hope is as good as Alamo.

The car smelled of smoke when we picked it up. It had sticker residue on all of the windows. It didn’t seem like it was thoroughly cleaned - lots of dust/dirt throughout the interior. Didn’t make us feel like it was properly cleaned especially during a pandemic. Very disappointing.

Car smelled like cigarettes, called Priceline to review options of returning the vehicle as the booking was made through them. Priceline customer service is horrible as they take 10 business days to respond to any requests, by the time my rental would be due back. Never using Priceline again

The attendant was clear, quick, and gracious. Answered all my questions with the most pleasant attitude. Shame I didn't memorize her name.

Everything was perfect except for the check-in, There was a long line and only one person at the counter. We waited for more than 20 minutes to pick up the car. The agent was quite nice, however, The car was excellent.

Despite being on time for our reservation, the rental counter was closed and the personnel had left for the night. My family was stranded in the airport, and I had to wander the rental car garage at 11PM to find an employee of a different company who eventually helped us get a car so we could get home. I will never rent with Avis again and will strongly recommend to anyone who asks that they avoid them if at all possible.

Reserved a 12-passenger van for 7 weeks. Avis will only give you a rental agreement for 30 days. I was told they would automatically email a new rental agreement for the remaining time. That didn’t happen. It took COUNTLESS phone calls, two visits back to the pickup location to get the updated agreement. Avis customer service in a word, sucks. Twice the agents hung up on me. I was transferred around so many times my head was spinning. Oh, I almost forgot about the certified letter demanding that I return a vehicle that wasn’t due back. I will not use Avis again, which is too bad — they used to be a decent rental car company to do business with.

OUR FLIGHT WAS LATE GETTING INTO PHX AND WE HAD TO BE DIRECTED THROUGH WASHINGTON, DC TO OUR DESTINATION MHT. WE CALLED AVIS AND THAT WE WOULD BE GETTING IN AFTER 11 PM./ THEY ASSURED US THAT SOMEONE WOULD BE ABLE TO ASSIST US TO PICK UP OUR VEHICLE. WHEN WE ARRIVED NO ONE WAS THERE,SO WE HAD TO GO TO HERTZ TO RENT ONE OF THEIR VEHICLES. I CALLED THE NEXT DAY TO CANCEL THE AVIS VEHICLE. HOPEFULLY, YOU'LL CONTACT THEM AND LET THEM KNOW THAT IT ISN'T GOOD POLICY TO GO BACK ON THEIR WORD.
