The Hertz Malaga Airport car rental desk can be found close to the arrivals area, opposite the P2 car park. As you leave terminal 2 or 3, follow the signs for Car Rentals and you’ll find us. Hertz at Malaga Airport is open every day 7am to 12am.

Almost all car rental services at Malaga Airport are located in the same area, so you won’t have any trouble finding us. The desk is within walking distance from the terminal building, but if you need assistance or a shuttle, please speak to us beforehand or ask an airport staff member for help.

It takes around 27 minutes to reach Malaga city center from the airport.

Exit the airport and join the Avenida de Velázquez (MA-21).
Stay on the MA-21, following signs towards Malaga city center or Centro Ciudad, merging on the MA-20.
Follow the Av. De Andalucia, which will take you into the heart of Malaga.

Where to return your rental car

Returning your Malaga Airport car rental is simple. If you’re travelling from Malaga city center, here’s how to get back to our rental location:

Head south on C. Molina Lario towards Calle Sta. María.
Cross the bridge (Puente de Tetuan) and follow Av. de Andalucía
Use the right 2 lanes to merge onto Autovía de Circunvalación de Málaga/MA-20 via the slip road to Aeropuerto/MA-21/Torremolinos/Algeciras/Cádiz
Take the exit 5A for MA-21 towards Torremolinos and continue on MA-21.
Take exit 2 to merge onto N-348 towards Aeropuerto/San Julián.
Park your car in the Hertz rental car park then head to our airport car rental desk to complete your return.

What to do when you return your rental car

Once you’ve parked your rental car, head to our desk located outside the terminal building, near the arrivals area, to drop off your keys. Our staff will welcome you and assist you through the final vehicle return steps.
