1 cup sprouted moong (whole green gram)
3 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
3 tbsp chopped mint leaves (phudina)
1/4 cup besan (bengal gram flour)
salt to taste
a pinch asafoetida (hing)
2 tsp green chilli paste
1 tsp oil for greasing and cooking

- sprouts tikki recipe | protein rich moong sprouts tikki | healthy sprouts tikki | is made using easily available ingredients in India: 1 cup sprouted moong (whole green gram), 3 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania), 3 tbsp chopped mint leaves (phudina), 1/4 cup besan (bengal gram flour), salt to taste, a pinch asafoetida (hing), 2 tsp green chilli paste and 1 tsp oil for greasing and cooking. - In a mixer, add 1 cupsprouted moong (whole green gram).
- Add 2 tbsp water.
- Blend it to a smooth paste.
- Transfer it to a bowl.
- Add 3 tbsp of chopped coriander (dhania).
- Add 3 tbsp chopped mint leaves (phudina).
- Add ¼ cupbesan (bengal gram flour).
- Add salt to taste.
- Add a pinch of asafoetida.
- Add 2 tsp green chilli paste.
- Mix well.
- Divide the mixture into 6 equal portions and roll out each portion into 50 mm. (2”) round flat thin tikkis.
- Heat a non-stick tava (griddle), and cook each tikki, using 1/8 tsp oil.
- Till they turn golden brown in colour from both the sides.
- Serve sprouts tikki immediately with green chutney.

Tarla Dalal    Hi Foodie, This is a healthy tikki recipe and made on a Tava. We have tested this multiple times and the taste is good. You cannot compare this to a deep fried tikki as that will be far tastier. Thanks for your thought.
